Still Don't Know!

So it's Wednesday night. I was imagining us spending tonight unpacking, tucking our boys into their new room, and us spending the night in an actual bedroom, not in our living room. But it's Wednesday and we are still in St Louis. We still haven't heard anything. The hiring partner has been in San Fransisco since last week, and won't be returning to his desk until tomorrow. So now, we are hoping that we hear something tomorrow. Brandon still has us packing like everything is going to happen. I hope it happens soon. We are living off of paper plates and pb & j sandwiches! This whole moving thing was exhausting when it was just the two of us, but add three kids into the mix, and it's ridiculous!
Anyway, on the boy front. Greyson had his 18 month check up yesterday. It was our last visit with Dr Huger. There were tears involved by 3 people. Brandon and I rode the fence about Dr Huger for a while. Since we were new parents we didn't always "trust" our Dr. We thought we might know best! But now I view Dr Huger as not only our Dr but as a friend. Anytime we would take a boy in for a sick baby visit, I would get numerous phone calls, with Dr Huger addressing herself as Anna. She called us several times on Christmas Eve and even Christmas day to make sure the boys were okay. So while giving her our sad news yesterday, she gave us her super exciting news. She is expecting.. twins!! So we spent most of the visit talking twin talk.. and then checking up on Grey!
So anyway here are Grey's 18 month stats:
Weight: 32.5 lbs
Length: 32 inches
Head Circumfrence: 19 inches

He is in the 95% on weight and hc and 75% on height. So Greyson is a beast! He is perfect.
His vocabulary is about 30-50 words, and is going all over the place all the time. He thinks he is one of the twins. He has to do everything that they do, and be everywhere that they are! So things are constant craziness at our house. But I love it!

Hopefully I'll be posting some super exciting news tomorrow!!

Stuck Between a Rock and A Hard Place... UGHHH

Okay, so we still haven't heard anything official about the job. Brandon got a call from one of the attorney's in Springfield this morning saying that the hiring partner that is located in Overland Park, is going to be back in the office on Monday... so we won't be hearing anything until then. This guy has also told Brandon that he was ready for him to get down to Springfield so he can get to work, that Brandon blew away the hiring partners in OP, and that Brandon needs to go ahead and get his arrangements in order. So while not "officially" hearing anything about the job, we are 99.9% sure that he has it. Which leads us to be stuck.
We started looking for places to live a month ago, when this whole interview process began. This is what I found: http://realestate.aol.com/facets_ldp_v2.jsp?afs=1&total=398&totalForLoc=526&pid=1.mogsbor_912155&t=1&price=0-300000&p=0&sq=Ozark,MO%20mortgage%20rates&fpage=3&loc=Ozark,%20MO&deducedLoc=Ozark,MO&bd=0&pl=0&pu=300000
This is our dream house... and Yep, we already went and looked at it. It's so nice having my dad have a real estate agent as a friend. I kinda drug Brandon along on Labor Day Weekend, but as soon as he saw it, he fell in love. Too bad it's out of our price range.
So now we have found a rental duplex. It's spacious, located in Ozark, and really well priced. I actually lived in it 10 years ago with my parents, while we were building the house they live in now. So the place is available for us to occupy Oct 1. But he has another couple interested in it too. So what to do? We don't have a contract in hand to know 100% that B has the job, but all signs point to yes. Should we put down a deposit? Should we pay first months rent, to show that we are interested? What to do, what to do?
So that's where we are. I've already started packing, but we don't have anywhere to move to yet! Oh well, I'm still packing! Ozark here we (hopefully) come!!! Please pray for us for 2 things: that this weekend doesn't seem to last forever, and that we will finally get something figured out!
Thanks in advance!

At Last

Okay, so pretend that Etta James is singing the title to this blog.
After two years of people asking me to do, I think my life has somewhat calmed down ( ha ha ha) enough for me to attempt to do this! So here it is people! Here is a peak into our life! Some of you have seen it up close, and some from a distance, but hopefully this will help you all to see what life is like with 27 month twins and a 17 month old!

I have to share this adorable story with you. Tonight we went to Chesterfield Mall, to pick out some suits for Brandon. We went a little late, since the boys took a later nap then normal. Not knowing how the boys would be, since it was 7 and then hadn't has supper yet, we were a little weary to go to a restaurant, and opted for the food court instead. Brandon took Daniel and Greyson and went to WOW Chicken (despite the name, the chicken is DELICIOUS!), and I was three spots down with Lincoln at Subway. With some impecable timing, we were both done ordering at the same time, and headed toward each other, with each of us having one of the twins out of the stroller. When Lincoln and Daniel saw each other, they ran straight to each other and gave the biggest hug ever. Imagine the vision of people running in slow motion in a field.. and that's what it looked like. Brandon and I just stopped and looked at each other and just starred. We then noticed that just about everyone in the somewhat empty food court was starring at them too. Then some random 20 something guy, stopped texting, looked at Brandon and said, "Dude, you can't beat that can ya?" Man are we blessed. And man do they have a bond far beyond anything we can understand.

When will we know?

So tomorrow is the big day. At 10 am Brandon will meet for his final "interview" to determine if he gets the job in Springfield. This is a long time coming, if I do say so myself. Brandon and I met 7 years ago, while he was still at MSU for his Undergrad. Then came the huge anticipation of getting into Law School. After being "wait listed" at his top 3 schools, he finally was personally accepted by the Head Dean of Saint Louis University School of Law.. over the phone!
Three years, two graduation ceremonies, 3 weeks of seperation while studying for the Bar Exam, and 2 Swearing in Ceremonies in Jeff City.. and not to mention 3 kids in ten months later! We hope the day is finally here. The day that he gets the job offer that he has busted his tail for. Good luck Brandon! I am so proud of you and all that you have accomplished in our seven years together. I love you.
